Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

With a label inspired by the psychedelic rock posters of the 1960s, Zinfandelic captures the spirit of Zinfandel, California's quintessential wine. The organically farmed old vine vineyards are located in Amador County, a region renowned for being home to some of the oldest Zinfandel vines in the world.

The high altitude vineyards and sandy clay loam soils yield a bold Old Vine Zinfandel, with rich, bright raspberry and black cherry fruit complemented by hints of earth and spice that add to its complexity. The fresh fruit characteristics are balanced by lively acidity, hallmarks of Amador County.

Zinfandelic's Amador County Old Vine Zinfandel wine makes an excellent food pairing choice for anything hot off the grill, such as grilled tri-tip steak. Or enjoy with barbeque ribs, meaty pasta dishes or pizza.

Love this Zinfandel from California. Its an old vine zin with ripe bright strawberry and black plum flavors. Bit of earth and soft tannins, too. Complex, elegant, enjoyable.

Delicious ripe raspberry and black cherry fruit flavors, with some earth and spice notes mixed in there. Smooth, velvety finish with hints of chocolate, cinnamon and pepper. Great for sipping on its own and tasty when paired with meat dishes and heavy pastas. Love the psychedelic rock label! Thinking of purchasing the groovy duo pack as a birthday gift for a friend who is a Zin fan.
