Winemaker Notes

Ripe Yarra Valley Cabernet and Merlot fruit flavours of raspberry, blackberry and cassis dominate with subtle aromas of plum and red currant supporting. Maturation in French oak barriques has added subtle oak flavours of cedar, spice and a touch of smoky complexity. Wonderfully balanced palate with great intensity and finesse. Fine French oak from Nevers and Allier adds depth, weight and complexity to the palate. The finish is tights and long on flavour, auguring well for the future of this wine.
