Somm Note
Winemaker Notes
Nose: An intense, complex nose with ripe cassis and cherry kernel characters enhanced by subtle oak and earthy aromas.
Palate: An attractive palate with rich dark berry fruit and chocolate flavours, supported by fine lingering tannins. The finish is long with a forest fruit aftertaste. A well balanced wine that will improve for at least 8 years.
Cellar: Optimum drinking 2001-2008.
