The Yalumba Y Series Unwooded Chardonnay 2010 is pale straw in color and is a medium bodied wine, built around fresh fruit, with lees texture. The aromas are signified by nectarine and grapefruit with hints of nougat and cinnamon. The palate has layers of grapefruit and nougat flavors. This is a finely textured wine that finishes with crisp acid that leaves a lasting impression of grapefruit sorbet. Enjoy with a burger filled with grilled haloumi, grilled eggplant, fresh rocket and hummus. Also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Alcohol By Volume GuideMost wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.
