Winemaker's Notes

The Yalumba Y Series Riesling 2003 is a blend of fruit from the adjacent regions of Barossa Valley and Eden Valley. The warmer Barossa Valley produces wines that have richness of flavour, while the cooler Eden Valley provides elegant, lifted aromatics. Together, these two regions make up the Barossa, a source renowned for its quality Riesling wines.

Pale straw in colour with green hues, Yalumba Y Series Riesling 2003 shows classical varietal character offering aromas of grapefruit and lemon peel and delicate floral overtones. The palate is lively and refreshing with generous lemon and grapefruit flavours, and a hint of tropical fruits on the finish.
