Pinot Noir from Sonoma County, California
ratings pedigree (past vintages):
winemaker's notes:
Rich and dark in color, this wine exhibits aromas of wild berries, pomegranates, sandalwood, fresh herbs and toasty oak in the nose. The mouth is filled with flavors of raspberries, truffles, dried cranberries, roasted nuts, Asian spices and mocha. The typical Coastal acidity and concentrated tannins accentuate ripe, wild berry flavors and linger into the long, crisp finish. Abundant and somewhat angular tannins will fatten out with 4-5 years of aging.

critical acclaim:
"Beautiful and lush, with wonderfully rich flavors of cherry pie filling, licorice, rosehip tea, sandalwood and cola, with a dash of cinnamon, pepper and vanilla powder. Gorgeous now, and will develop for at least four years. "

Wine Enthusiast
"Deep, bright red. Pure aromas of spicy red berries, flowers and minerals are deepened by a gentle smoky quality. Suave and silky, offering sweet strawberry and raspberry flavors and showing no obvious tannins. A juicy, precise wine that finishes with impressive clarity and lingering sweetness. There's a lot of Hirsch fruit in here, Bob Cabral told me."

International Wine Cellar
"Spicy red cherry, plum and rose petal scents are delicate and elegant. Medium-bodied, with a touch of candied cherry. This ends as it begins—delicate and elegant—gaining nuance and finesse. Drink now through 2014. 1,308 cases made"
