Our 2008 Napa Valley Chardonnay reveals elegant aromas of creamy vanilla, honeysuckle and ripe fruit of white peach and pear. This wine is full bodied and rich with hints of butter and brown spice, and a refined acidity that is maintained through the intense fruit and vanilla focused finish.
"Fragrant, fresh, clean and delicate, this offers fleshy peach, nectarine, citrus and tangerine flavors, with a complex, layered finish. Drink now through 2015. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 15,500 cases made."
"The reasonably priced 2008 Chardonnay Napa possesses a crisp, elegant, fresh, minimally-oaked style in addition to subtle notions of tropical fruit, pear and citrus blossoms. This medium-bodied white is meant to be drunk over the next year. Now owned by the vast Gallo empire, Gallo deserves enormous credit for finally getting these wines back on the track. The William Hill brand has been one of the most mediocre Napa names for many years, but that is certainly not the case with the current and upcoming releases."

The winery specializes in Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, producing Reserve and Napa Valley bottlings. The result are Chardonnays that are highly complex and multi-layered with crisp, bright flavors.
