Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

A vibrant nose with lemon grass and key lime aromatics. Lively kiwi, gooseberry and tangerine notes are integrated with hints of sugar cane. Bright acidity balances lingering citrus on the finish.

Pair with crab cakes, sushi, pasta with spring vegetables and grilled chicken.

Critical Acclaim

"A standout in this new vintage, Waterbrook's pure varietal bottling explodes into life with bright, spicy, pungent scents of recently mown lawn, herb, pine needle, citrus and melon. fresh, clean textural and persistent, it has a depth of flavor rarely found at this price. Best Buy."

I didn't enjoy the flavor of this wine. It had a soapy taste to it. I won't be buying this one again.
