Winemaker's Notes:

 "The M Series wines are all 100% Monastrell aged in stainless steel. The 2005 M3/Monastrell from La Mancha has a lovely nose of forest floor, blueberry, and blackberry. This seamless wine has excellent flavor and a lengthy finish. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. The name Vinos Sin-Ley means "wines without laws." According to importer Patrick Mata, these cuvees are produced by an array of serious winemakers who wish to have their own personal projects apart from those of their employers and to not be bound by the various D.O. regulations. The G Series wines are composed of 100% Garnacha while the new M Series wines are 100% Monastrell. The Zestos wines are blends. They are reviewed in the order they were presented. All of the recommended wines are excellent values."

About Vinos Sin-Ley:

 In translation, Vinos Sin-Ley means "Wines Without Law". The objective of Vinos Sin-Ley is to create "new wines" that are value oriented. The concept, driven by creative innovation using nonconventional methods of harvesting, fermenting, blending, aging and labeling, results in wines exhibiting new fresh fruit driven flavors that are different from those achieved in the past.

Composed of a group of young winemakers from different regions in Spain, the wines crafted at Vinos Sin-Ley are value oriented, driven by experimentation, innovative insight and the shared philosophy of the winemakers. They meet twice a year to put into effect new projects of mutual interest and shared knowledge of the winemaking techniques implemented.
