Winemaker's Notes

Clear gold color. Fresh quince and green apple skin aromas. The palate is bright and tart with a good fleshy palate. Refreshing stuff.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2012 Vina Mein is a cold-fermented blend of 70% Treixadura and the rest Godello, Loureira, Albarino, Torrontes, Albilla and Lado. It's fresh with aromas of bay leaf, recently cut grass, hay, straw, very clean and precise, with notes of white fruits (pear). The palate is delineated, with good acidity, clear flavors of fennel, and a pleasant herbaceous touch. 100,000 bottles produced. This is very good value, showing the typicity of Ribeiro."
91 Points

"Light yellow. Fragrant scents of poached pear, melon and orange zest, with a chalky mineral overtone. Fresh orchard fruit and honeydew flavors are enlivened by zesty citrus peel and ginger qualities and pick up a hint of quinine with air. This focused, clean wine finishes with excellent cut and length."
