Winemaker's Notes

Cherry red with ripe-cherry tones, lively, good maturation tones, good color, intense. Hearty, fresh and complex on the nose, elegant and creamy, with an agreeable oak floor and ripe-fresh cherry fruit flavor. Round, rich, flavorful and voluminous, a bit fleshy and long lasting with very intense finish.

Critical Acclaim

"Bright violet color. High-pitched black and blue fruit aromas show a slight jamminess and a touch of white pepper. Juicy and light on its feet, offering tangy blueberry and bitter cherry flavors and a hint of orange pith. Closes a bit tart, but with good clarity and length. I'd drink this on the young side for its vibrant fruit."
