Winemaker's Notes

The early 2006 harvest resulted in a deeply-colored, intense young wine that should prove to be a worthy successor to the superb 2004 and 2005 vintages. Deep wild berry aromas and mouth filling flavor and length are provided by the old Tempranillo vines. Tannins are ample but balanced by textural richness and juicy fruit.

"Dark purple. Primary dark berry aromas are complicated by musky earth and dark chocolate. Tarry cherry and cassis flavors are gently tannic and finish sweet. Straightforward, ready to drink and tasty. A great buy, too."
