Winemaker's Notes

Gleaming straw, with subtle green and golden hues. The floral nose reveals orange blossom and gardenia. The refreshing, creamy palate displays white peaches and Meyer lemon tones with a hint of flinty minerality.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2011 Felino Chardonnay is whole cluster pressed from vines planted in Lujan de Cuyo, Tupungato and San Carlos. All but 5% is aged in stainless steel with just a smattering of new oak. It has a light bouquet of linden and Mirabelle that is defined but tightly coiled at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet coconut and shaved ginger-tinged entry. It is nicely balanced, the finish imbued with touches of honeysuckle and orange zest."
