Valdo was started in 1926 by the Societa Anonima Vini Superiori and purchased by The Bolla Family in the 1940's. Valdo has over 80 years of continuous innovation with an ongoing quest for quality and devotion to respecting the vineyards and winemaking traditions of the region. Valdo is located at the foothills of the "pre-alps" around Treviso in the heart of Prosecco DOCG production area, and Valdo Winery has been cultivating this unique grapevine for generations. Similar to etymology which gives an account of the entire history of a specific word, the Valdobbiadene area is undeniably intertwined with the history of the Valdo winery. The wine estate and its territory complement each other: every wine, every sparkling wine, every bottle contains a subtle aromatic note that evokes the flavor of vineyards growing on the hilly slopes of the Treviso province.
