Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.
Ratings Pedigree:

Winemaker's Notes

Fresh and supple, lively yet subtle lime, quince and pear aromas, flavors of melon and stone fruits.

Critical Acclaim

"Made from a hard-to-find variety in California, this bright, beautifully aromatic wine expresses gorgeous scents of jasmine that follow through in flavor to the finish. Its layers of lime, apple and a generous level of minerality are perfectly executed and waiting for seafood.

Light, buttery nose, bright sparkly first notes of lime and tropical fruit, turns creamy, a banana pops up randomly and finishes with a hint of smokey ash. I completely agree with Wine Enthusiasts 92 rating.
