Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Very pale with slight green hue. Fresh aromatics leap out of the glass full of fresh green apples, sherbet, lifted rosewater and exotic bath salts. The entry is light with a fine bead, but the texture slowly builds with the creamy mousse. The wine is vibrant, showing strong floral flavours and fresh green apples, with an acid and sweetness roundabout that is balanced and focused giving great length and refreshment. It keeps you looking for the next glass!
