Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Italian in style and made from White Frontignac grapes, this is a low alcohol, slightly spritzy wine with sweet, lush, fruity flavours. Fire up the barbie, make a nice seafood salad and sit back; you'll be reaching for the second bottle in no time!

Critical Acclaim

"Light straw. Nectarine, orange, peach and candied ginger aromas are less exotic and floral, and more mineral, than most moscatos. Smooth and lightly spicy, with a gentle sweetness and good clarity to the ginger, pear and tangerine flavors. Finishes with a lingering hint of sweet melon."
90 Points

"As good as they come in this style, with juicy limey/lemony fruit and good balance of sweetness and acidity. Screwcap."

Sassy, sweet but not too sweet. Like grapy ginger ale and I mean that in a good way. This would be a great hot weather refresher.
