Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
The 2011 Angels' Share Shiraz has a black core with magenta rim. Beautifully perfumed with earthy black fruits, subtle cracked pepper, vanilla and chocolate notes. Very inviting. Impressive burst of flavor with rich dark fruits and spice dominate the long palate, which is finally rounded out by subtle vanilla char and long, fine tannins.
"Full purple-red; some clever footwork in the vineyard and winery alike has produced a medium- to full-bodied wine with no shortage of fruit flavour or extract; just a little chunky, perhaps."
Australian Wine Companion
"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2011 Angel's Share Shiraz offers intense blue and black fruit notes with nuances of black pepper, licorice and chocolate. The palate provides a good concentration of youthful peppered fruit with a medium level of rounded tannins and crisp acidity, finishing with medium to long persistence."
