"Deep purple-black colored, the 2010 Angel's Share Shiraz is intensely perfumed of ripe cassis, black cherry compote and blackberry pie with hints of dried plums, aniseed, tar and spice cake. Full bodied and vibrantly fruited on the palate, it offers an abundance of juicy black berry flavors with crisp acidity to enliven and a medium level of velvety tannins. The finish is long with some dried berry components coming through. Delicious at this youthful, primary-fruit stage, it should cellar gracefully."
The Wine Advocate
"Youthful purple. Intensely perfumed aromas of cherry-vanilla and blackberry brightened by zesty minerality and a subtle cola quality. Lively dark fruits on the palate, with cola and licorice nuances emerging with air. A hefty but energetic shiraz, finishing with excellent persistence and a late-arriving jolt of peppery spices."
International Wine Cellar
