The vines produce small bunches of fruit with concentrated, pea-sized berries. These grapes, cropping at less than 2 tonnes per acre, deliver a wine of incredible power and weight which will evolve slowly over the next decade or more. Aged in French oak for 2 & 1/2 years, it has subtle vanilla overtones which complement the intensity of the fruit.
