Winemaker's Notes

Beautiful straw color with green edges. This Riesling has a fine mineral fragrance with ginger, caraway seed, underripe pineapple and flowers. Flavors of white peach, quince and lemon on the palate with a lingering, clean and dry finish.

Served best with marinated, grilled, or sauced fish, and sushi. Delicious with traditional Alsace dishes like onion tarte, sauerkraut, and pork.

Critical Acclaim

"Straw-yellow, deeper than the 2011. A fusel nuance complicates bright stone fruit and floral aromas. Very fresh and saline, offering excellent chewy extract and noteworthy length. An excellent entry-level wine, especially for those who like their rieslings bigger and chewier. Remarkable quality..."

"Light-bodied and fresh, with racy acidity enlivening flavors of anise, fresh quince, blanched almond and grapefruit zest. Lacy, with a delicate finish."
