Winemaker's Notes

The Wine: The intense color of opulent rubies is of note at the onset. Oak-scented cherry and berry aromas lead to rich fruit on the palate. A perfect mix of bright berry flavors laced with smoky oak held in balance with affirming tannins makes this wine luscious in the mouth through a long, lingering finish.

The Matches: An indulgent partner to the finest beef, lamb or game is found in this opulent Cabernet Sauvignon. The addition of thyme, full-flavored mushrooms or peppercorns to the entrée creates wonderful harmony with this wine.
