Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

The Tomero Torrontes displays light color, with yellow hues. On the nose, slightly citric aromas with some notes of preserved orage peel. Fresh flavors, with well balanced acidity and a good volume. After the initial attack, the wine evolves to impress at mid-palate with notes of white grapefruit.

Following the heritage of his ancestors and the traditional winemaking that the first Italian and Spanish immigrants brough to Argentina, this is where Carlos Pulenta developed his personal undertaking of blending wines involving members of his family, advisors, enologists, and a highly-esteemed group of people who knew the land well.
