Alcohol By Volume: 13.4%

Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Our Chardonnay displays fresh apple and peach aromas with a hint of vanilla on the nose. The wine's broad, mouth-filling palate offers notes of Fuji apple, quince and crème brulee.

This Chardonnay is a fabulous accompaniment to fish and chicken dishes, game birds, pork and cream sauce pastas.

Chardonnay for me seems to be one of those varietals that I dislike more than like so it's really fun to taste and rate because I know there are ones I like out there. I've tasted them, I swear! This one is up there. It's not my absolute favorite, but for the price I will for sure buy more to keep on hand or happily order in in a restaurant. Very little oak (a plus for my taste), full mouth feel, a little buttery, citrusy and "zingy" on the tongue.
