Winemaker's Notes

Colour: intense ruby red with purple taints.

Aroma: before swilling the wine around the glass notice the strong aroma of jammy red and black fruit, especially cassis mingling with undertones of spice and red pepper. Subtle aromas of vanilla and caramel, accompanied by notes of toasted dried fruit merge to create what can only be described as a deeply aromatic sensation.

Taste: this wine boasts a layered structure and a delicious complexity, both of which combine to create an intensely fulfilling mouth-feel. Its velvety and syrupy characteristics portray a soft and approachable wine. On the palette, black fruit and cassis path the way for a lengthy and distinguished finish.

Consumption suggestions: this wine can be enjoyed now or laid down for 10-15 years, when it will slowly develop typical evolutionary characteristics.

Yet it's hard not to get caught up in the wine market of the world and some...
