Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

This Etna Bianco is a pale yellow color. The nose is definitely floral, reminiscent of linden blooms. The flavor is fresh and light, with a mineral essence. In aging, the noblesse of the Etna and its remarkable terroir emerge.

Critical Acclaim

"Elegant yet complex, this medium-bodied white balances chalk notes , bright acidity and hints of herb with flavors of ripe Meyer Lemon and crunchy melon. Fine length."
