Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Bright straw-yellow color. The scent reminds of breadcrust, acacia blossoms and ripe tropical fruits. The vini?cation in white, the almost complete absence of sulphuric acid and the surveillance of the temperature of fermentation result in a fruity, complete and fascinating wine of elegant freshness Accompaniment: starters, ham and fresh cheese, ?sh, white meat, eggs and vegetable-stews.

Critical Acclaim

"Here is a very successful interpretation of Pinot Grigio with loads of aromatic intensity, stone fruit, nectarine, honeysuckle and yellow rose. The wine is smooth and creamy on the palate and offers long lasting fruit flavors"
