Wine Style Guide

Light & Fruity

Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

This Malbec was born as a result of a precise fermentation process control, a long maceration of 30 days and 8 months of ageing in oak barrels. It has a deep violet color typical of the Malbec wines, with excellent structure and soft tannins. Very well balanced, a long finish, and with a reminiscence of ripe fruits. Our oenologist highlights the intense plum and red fruit aromas with a hint of vanilla, chocolate and coffee.

Critical Acclaim

"Begins in chunky, jammy fashion but soon it finds a classier groove. The berry aromas are big and inviting, while the palate is smooth, cushioned and deep, with standard but attractive berry and black plum flavors. Long on the finish, with the sum exceeding each part."
