Wine Style Guide

Light & Fruity

Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

The lovely dark purple wine has a complex aroma of blackberries and cherries accented by subtle graphite tones and a hint of toasty oak. The classic, exuberant berry flavors are the rich center of the wine, joined by some pomegranate and a touch of orange peel in the finish. As the wine opens in the glass very delicate notes of strawberry jam and a more savory, meaty robustness emerge, bringing an overall impression of a dense inner core wrapped in elegant velvet.
