Winemaker's Notes

The St. Francis Reserve Cabernet is produced from 100% fruit of our Nuns Canyon Vineyard situated high in the Mayacamas mountain range between Sonoma and Napa County. This steeply terraced vineyard, located high along the Mayacamas range, provides St. Francis with fruit of excellent character and classic Cabernet personality. Exceptional western exposure and deep rich soils produce intensely concentrated grapes with marked depth of color and abundant tannins.

Descriptors: cassis, plums, mint, licorice, black cherry, chocolate.

Food Affinities: Classic beef dishes, roasted lamb, grilled steaks, hearty cheeses, rich chocolate desserts.

Alcohol: 14.1 % by volume
