Winemaker's Notes

This classic Alexander Valley Chardonnay offers vibrant aromas of ripe pear, white peach and yellow apple. On the palate the wine has a nice viscosity and creamy texture with lasting flavors of lemon, pear and honeycomb. The wine has bright acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Critical Acclaim

"Complex aromas of citrus, pear, apple and honeysuckle, with touches of toasty oak. Full-bodied, rich and elegant, with a long, lingering finish. Drink now through 2011."
90 Points

"Pale gold hue. Fresh scents of peach, pear, white frosting and charred oak. Pear and soft lemon drop flavors are brightened by a nervy edge of fresh acidity. Well made and zippy with a citrus kick in the finish."

This was nice and buttery which I look for in chardonnay. I am getting married in June and this is a contender for the white I will provide for guests at the reception.
