Winemaker's Notes

Our Sauvignon blanc shows the purity and character that are the result of minimal intervention and handling. This year's Sauvignon Blanc has a lovely bouquet of melon and honeysuckle. The palate has creamy texture, balanced by a bright acidity. It is the perfect aperitif to open the palate and begin the evening.

Critical Acclaim

"Vibrant and tangy, this light-bodied wine has appealing citrusy tangerine, melon, spice and mineral notes. There's great acidity and a good kick of flavors on the finish."
91 Points

"A flinty, steely white made in a Loire Valley style. It reveals plenty of melon and honeyed citrus characteristics along with medium body, a surprisingly captivating texture, and good length. Aging on its less has provided additional texture and body, but it is a crisp, pure Sauvignon to enjoy over the next 1-2 years."

We very much enjoyed the complexities of this wine. I would say its for a more "sophisticated" pallet but not really - you just have to like wine and like to try something different. We tested it against a French Sauvignon Blanc and a South African one... most of the tasters liked the French one but really it was the most "accessible".
