The 2013 Smoking Loon Syrah is a hidden gem amongst the Smoking Loon family. Immediately, aromas of sandalwood, red currants and cherries are present. On the palate, dark fruit flavors of cranberry and tart strawberries complement white pepper and cinnamon notes. This full-bodied Syrah has a subtle touch of vanilla lingering through the finish. Our Smoking Loon Syrah pairs well with hearty dishes such as grilled ribeye steak, bratwurst or mildly spicy chili colorado. This wine continues to be a regular Syrah fan favorite.
