2008 Miller Ranch Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc: Sauvignon Blanc has tremendous vibrancy and exotic aromatics. Our road map to creating Miller Ranch is simple: cold, stainless steel fermentation to preserve the citrusy freshness, multiple yeast strains to enhance the aromas and enough barrel fermented Semillon to make the texture silky.
Brilliant pale straw color with a green tinge. Intensely fresh aromatics – orange blossom, lime, honeydew melon, mineral and juniper. Fresh flavors echo the aromas. Juicy citrus flavors and a lively acidity entice you to have another glass.
"This wine includes a small portion of semillion (6 percent), which adds some richness to the texture. The flavor of peaches shows the ripeness of the wine. Scents of chamomile add to the flavor depth, while the texture is meaty enough to serve with roast veal."
