This Chardonnay displays mineral and flint from the cooler sites; tropical fruit, pear and honey from the warmer site. The mild oak adds a hint of vanilla and hazelnut. Aromas of fresh white pearmain apple, citrus, honeysuckle with a subtle layer of toasty oak that adds complexity without diminishing the upfront fruit. On the palate, a medium body with fresh fruit flavors on entry, finishes with a delightful marmalade and light butter essence.
Horribly disappointed, very oaky and not rich and creamy at all. Guess I'll be using these for "bring to party" since now I am stuck with them.
