Winemaker's Notes

A benchmark for Australian Sauvignon Blanc. Made from 100% Adelaide Hills grapes, the wine is unwooded to maximize varietal punch. The aroma has restrained sauvignon grassiness coupled with riper fruit characters. The palate is fresh and lively with pure fruit varietal flavors and crisp acidity.

Critical Acclaim

"Dry and crisp, with a tangy grapefruit note leading a pack of citrus and herb flavors, finishing with a lively balance that lets the flavors echo. Drink now. 500 cases imported."
90 Points

"Bright straw. Spicy, mineral-accented lime, grapefruit and orange aromas, with subtle mineral and floral qualities building with air. Racy, focused and pure, with nervy citrus and pear flavors and a kick of white pepper on the back. Finishes brisk and pure, with good grip and a strong echo of lime. This would work really well with oysters."
90 Points

"Vibrant lime and nectarine flavors balance the grassiness of this young sauvignon. It's fresh and lean, a mouthwatering wine for lemon sole."
