Seven Hills Winery was established in 1988 to vinify some of the nation's finest wine grapes: those grown in the Walla Walla Valley Appellation. In 1989 we moved to our current facility in Milton-Freewater, on the southern edge of the Appellation. Our winemaking process is a customized, hand-crafted approach that follows the grape from vineyard, through fermentation, aging and bottling, into the marketplace. Our central focus is dedication to providing a memorable wine drinking experience. Limited production may make our wine more difficult to find but always worth the search.

This single-vineyard Pinot Gris is light straw-gold in color with aromas of ripe citrus, spearmint, pear and fresh hazelnut. There"s an enticing streak of vanillin from the oak. The wine is dry,
but has a bright, sweet citrus palate made more interesting by a hint of spearmint by mouth. The finish...

A dusty, sweet berry and pepper nose leads into black plum,
olive and pepper palate on top of firm tannins and juicy acidity. The full finish is a dynamic red berry and tannin interplay. The wine is a bit bolder, and one can expect it well age more slowly in
bottle.

It's a delight to offer our very successful off-dry style Riesling from the cool 2010 vintage. The lower alcohol, sweetness and fresh crisp finish are very showy this year. We continue to source from two old sites in the Yakima Valley, with their depth and complexity, with a cooler northern...

This 2009 vintage showcases fruit character and ripeness, while tannin and acidity takes a backseat in contrast to 2008. Merlot from the 1976 block predominates in this vintages blend by a small amount, lending an overall softer more fruit driven approach than 2008. The Petit Verdot percentage is...

We've made Viognier from Talcott Vineyard for a number of years, and are very happy with the balance and varietal character the site offers. 2009 was a bit warmer than normal, with near average yields. I think of this wine as a peach danish in a glass: Sweet ripe peach, toasty creamy notes and...

2008 gave us classically Northwest styled wines of complexity and balance. We continue to base the blend on the 1998 Cabernet block, which is fan-trained, a relatively rare system. Merlot lends its usual lush fruit roundness to the blend, with Petit Verdot adding strength in strucuture and color,...

This Syrah is truly a valley wide blend, with grapes from cobble, hillside and terrace microclimates and soil types. Aromas of pine give way to smoke, black olive and gamey characters.
