Winemaker's Notes:

 This dark blackish wine shows intense aromas of fresh black cherries, sweet cedar and coffee, with dark/milk chocolate and wet gravel notes. Background traces of vanilla, cigar box and cinnamon toast linger. Full, rich, and round, the palate flavors are fresh blackberries, sweet cherries, bittersweet chocolate and cinnamon.

This complex wine pairs well with delicately-prepared dishes like pepper crusted tenderloin with mushroom cream and roasted asparagus.

Blend: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot

 Sequoia Grove is located in the prime Rutherford District of the California Napa Valley. Rutherford is renowned for producing some of America's finest quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The 24-acre estate is planted in Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pitit Verdot, Malbec, and Chardonnay vines.
