The Rattlesnake Acres Petite Sirah is located on a beautiful rocky hillside in Calistoga. Forty years ago, tiki parties and beatnik poetry readings were in full swing. Salads involving combinations of mayonnaise, fruit jello and canned vegetables were featured prominently in the best homes. It was during this auspicious time that the Rattlesnake Acres Petite Sirah Vineyard was born. These vines produce minute quantities of the infamous "dangerously red" wine. The demesne of Roy Enderlin and his cigars have been in his family since the turn of the century. Violets, pepper, vanilla and berries. Deep dark color, voluptuous and lusty, with a lingering pungent finish. Alcohol: 13.5 by volume
