I tried this wine to compare it to another Carmenere I drink regularly, which does not rate as high as the Santa Rita. While I still prefer my usual brand, this was a nice change of pace that went great with steak.
Simply delicious. I have been impressed with all Santa Rita wines so far, so was expectng a lot. Consider this a great bargain.
I tried this wine as a change of pace from French and California wines. I found this wine to be full of rich flavor and it went well with my steak dinner.
