Wine Style Guide

Light & Fruity

Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

Dark cherry red in color, with aromas of prunes, chocolate, some notes of menthol (characteristic of the Maipo Valley) and toasted oak. On the palate, it is well structured, with persistent and firm tannins.

An ideal pairing for barbequed meat and flavored cheese.

Critical Acclaim

"The ripeness of the fruit flavors gives this cabernet a sweet and soft character, balanced by a touch of herbal freshness. It comes together with time in the glass, the wine's scents of leather and earth blending into the whole."

not much of a true cab at all. very light on its feet with not many typical cab characteristics. I am not sure where these high ratings come from. 2 bottles were both consistant. I would not recommend this wine.

Either way, this grape is responsible, as a whole or a partner, for some of the greatest wines in the world. In Bordeaux,...
