Sandalford Cabernet Sauvignon 1996

This deep, dense red wine has a richly concentrated berry taste, characteristic of Cabernet Sauvignon aged in high quality French oak. The intense fruit and oak flavor allows a persistent finish. This is a wine that clearly illustrates the advantage of sourcing fruit from both Mount Barker and Margaret River vineyards at varying levels of maturity.

This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with roasted venison, tapanade and thyme. Also ideal with beef, lamb or game, sharp cheeses and even pasta dishes.
