This is a lusty full-bodied wine with an effusive bouquet of plum, black cherry and currants. Opulent on the palate with jammy plum, dark chocolate and black berry fruit, it rewards again on the finish with olive, spice and leather. True to the winemaker's signature the wine is encompassed in a well-woven mesh of supple tannins that complete the wine, giving it cohesiveness and structure.
Wonderful with flank steak, veal chop, game, hearty pastas and pecorino cheese.
