Winemaker's Notes

59% Cab Sauv, 33% Shiraz, 8% Merlot

Deep crimson red in color. The aroma is of a great fusion between the Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz convey aromas of sweet vanilla and caramel. Hints of oak spice is also prevalent. On the palate it is a wine offering great intensity with a powerful mouth filling experience. Dark berries and notes of coffee give way to a lingering finish.

Critical Acclaim

"Ripe and polished, with a superfresh core of red and black currant fruit, licorice, spice cake and braised fig. The great tangy, embedded structure carries the long, iron-tinged finish. Should stretch out nicely with cellaring. Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Drink now through 2015."

This organization seemed to favor quantity over quality and had most...
