Rombauer Vineyards' 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet
Sauvignon is a plush, concentrated wine that exhibits
ripe fruit flavors of blackberry, blueberry, and dark
cherries that pick up momentum and open gracefully
into the finish. There are supple tannins that highlight
the fruit driven style of this wine. This wine has a
tannin structure to last many years, yet is fruity
enough to enjoy now.
"We have moved from buying Cabernet to owning or
managing all of our vineyards to insure the optimum
quality and fruit expression. The vineyards, which are
located near Calistoga, Atlas Peak, Diamond Mountain,
and Oak Knoll, each have their own unique flavor and
structure. Each lot is kept separate and specific oak barrels
are selected and matched with each vineyard to further
add to the complexity and enjoyment."
- G. Graham, Winemaker

Either way, this grape is responsible, as a whole or a partner, for some of the greatest wines in the world. In Bordeaux,...Read More About Cabernet Sauvignon
