Winemaker's Notes

Blend: 52% Sauvignon Blanc, 48% Semillon

Aroma: The 2006 Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon aroma shows nice kiwi and lime fruits.

Palate: The palate is delicate but lively in structure, with good intensity on the mid palate and a crisp lingering finish. It shows excellent balance, with lovely primary fruit notes complemented by subtle acidity.

Serving suggestions: This wine makes a great aperitif, and it is also an excellent match for antipasto, sushi or blue-eyed cod.

Learn About Bordeaux White Blends

Bordeaux White Blend
There's white wine in Bordeaux, too! Typically made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and bits of Muscadelle, white Bordeaux can be a fully dry table wine or, as in Sauternes, a deliciously sweet dessert wine. In other areas of the world, a Bordeaux blend consists primarily of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, either of which may be the predominant variety. Bordeaux blends can vary in style, but most have good acidity and often a mineral overtone.
