The fruit for these wines comes from vineyard parcels that are adjacent to the top sites: Klosterberg, Turmberg and Gräfenberg. The character of this Riesling, like all Robert Weil Rieslings, is defined largely by these mineral-rich soils.
The idea behind this estate wine is to produce a full-bodied dry Riesling that shows the class and power of the Rheingau region, but is more affordable than the ultra-classy single-vineyard wines.
