Winemaker's Notes

This 2000 vintage portrays lots of ripe pure fruit with an emphasis on black cherry and anise laced flavors. The wine is both rich and complex displaying integrated notes of baking spices, cocoa and toasted oak. A well-focused finish offers depth on the palate and a silky texture framed by firm tannins and lingering ripe fruit with earthy nuances and chocolate undertones.
