Winemaker's Notes

This top value Pinot Grigio reflects the expertise of acclaimed winegrower Alois Lageder, and the wines he selected from vineyard sources in the "Tre Venezie" (Alto Adige, Trentino and Veneto) - acknowledged as one of Italy's prime regions for quality white wines.

Alois Lageder carefully selects the wines on-site; they are sur lie-matured in stainless steel tanks, then blended and bottled at his Lšwengang winemaking facilities.

riff Pinot Grigio reflects the origin of its prime growing area in style and character, and demonstrates all the varietal's best characteristics: good structure and intensity on the palate, balanced with lively acidity.

Quite a nice surprise! Had it with a few friends and it was lovely on a warm, late Spring afternoon. Try it with appetizers, tapas, or a seafood salad this summer

Very nice Pinot. Full flavor without too much fruityness. Very smooth and sophisticated for a very affordable wine.

Learn About Trentino-Alto Adige

(tren-TEE-noe ahl-toe ah-DEE-jay) The area consists of the regions Trentino and Alto Adige, neighbors in Northeast Italy, and is part of the Tre-Venezie trifecta. The northernmost region of Italy is fairly hilly due its closeness to the the Alps, and many vines in Trentino are terraced along the hillsides for ideal sunlight benefits. Alto Adige, in turn, has more vines on...

Pinot Gris' most popular and successful region is Alsace, France, an area of the country that actually puts the name of the grape on the label. Pinot Grigio is the Italian version of the grape,...
