"We started out the growing season cooler than expected. However,
tempertures soon rose into the 90's, putting some of the crop ahead of
schedule. Then out of left field, cool weather hit us in late September
bringing harvest to a screeching halt, and we got to sit back and watch
as fruit matured and flavors intensified. All in all, this was our fifth
consecutive awesome harvest in Washington state, characterized by fruit
with small berries, well balanced flavors and intense colors."
"Give me a slice of crusty bread, some extra virgin olive oil, a chunk
of parmesan cheese and a bottle of this cab – and I'm good for a
heavenly afternoon. This Cabernet flaunts a spicy nose with some
tobacco and cherry aromas. Intense, rich red fruits on the palate are
complimented with a slight toasty note on the finish."
